Coase Scholarships

How the Coase Scholarship was established

A generous endowment from the Nobel Prize-winning economist Professor Ronald Coase has enabled us to offer new scholarships to study a range of Economics courses at The University of ³Ô¹ÏÍø.

Coase was inspired by his undergraduate economics education and went on to make a major change to the way we look at the world. His radical analysis of markets and firms established whole new areas of economic enquiry:

A long-term friend of the University, his legacy now paves the way for future generations of Economics students from all backgrounds to change the future, starting that journey with us.
